The Hogg Foundation for Mental Health was funded by a bequest from the estate of Will C. Hogg (1875-1930), son of Texas Governor James Stephen Hogg (1851-1906), and was established by his sister Ima Hogg and brothers Mike and Tom in 1940 to operate under the auspices of The University of Texas.
